Sorry I hate to be negative about any game but this really is a poor effort and one we have sadly become accustomed to PC, especially when it comes to Unreal Engine 4 titles! I guess the whole point of this remaster is to sell the game to PS5 and Xbox Series X owners and, if so, then the game is a failure. Goodness knows what they did to this game but from what I've seen even the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are a mess and rarely hit 60 fps in their performance. The game is constantly jerky and feels absolutely horrible to play. If I turn off DRS then the framerate plummets to 48 fps in the opening section and even to single digits while turning with some heavy stuttering (shader compilation?). ![]() Using Dynamic Resolution Scaling is the *only* way I can play this sub-par remaster above 60 fps on the same 1440p Ultra settings that ran at 100+ fps in the original. ![]()
